We have an exciting opportunity within the Security Operations Center (SOC) team within our Information Security Group’s Detection and Response group.

**How will I help?**

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for identifying and responding to potential cyber threats, communicating with internal stakeholders for incident response and remediation.

**This role will be working on a shift roster and require working one weekend each month.**

In this role, you will be participating in knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives within the SOC, this may also include:

- Developing an understanding of the tools used in the SOC and will practice using them.
- Participate in team development activities.
- Seek guidance and mentoring from more experienced Squad Members.

**What do I need?**

Any prior exposure to SOC environments or Cyber Security would be advantageous, along with:

- Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Any Tertiary education in this related field.
- A desire to keep learning with a curious and creative mindset.
- An understanding of concepts such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK framework, or experience with EDR or Cloud solutions would be desirable.

Prior knowledge or experience with a technical background, IT skills, network technologies, protocols and/or firewalls would be warmly welcomed.
