A privately owned construction company with work primarily in the western suburbs of Melbourne, who specialise in all aspects of formwork, falsework and concrete construction projects such as commercial warehousing, hospitals, level crossings removals, road infrastructures and airport aprons / taxi ways, currently have a great opportunity for a apprentice to join their experienced team.

As a Formwork Carpentry apprentice, you will learn to assemble concrete foundations and other concrete structures while working on large scale construction and civil projects.

You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Carpentry.

Hours are 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday work from 7:00am to 1:00pm.

To be considered for this position you must have a car and licence, be willing to learn, committed, be physically fit (due to the type of work) and be reliable. You must also be willing to travel to various sites in an around Metro Melbourne eg. Clyde North, Bulleen, Melbourne Airport etc. when required.
