Wall and Floor Tiler/waterproofer

**TERMI Home & Commercial Termi Home & Commercial **is looking for experienced Wall and Floor Tilers for existing and upcoming projects in the Newcastle/Central Coast area.

Duties & responsibilities of a Wall and Floor Tiler:

- Preparing for work through consulting work plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and laying out tiles
- Cleaning wall and floor surfaces through tasks such as removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks to create a smooth working surface,
and general cleaning activities.
- Spreading the appropriate amount of adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles to ensure secure attachment
- Setting tiles according to planned position
- Cutting tiles into appropriate shapes through use of tile-cutting tools for edges, corners, fittings, and/or pipes
- Correctly aligning and spacing tiles
- Cleaning and removing any excess grout
- Cater to special client requests to lay floors in particular compositions such as: granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition
- Fulfil any client requests to lay coloured tiles to create mosaic/s according to approved patterns

Qualification/Skills Required:

- Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling, or certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling with on-the-job training or 2 years post qualification experience, or
- Minimum 3 years experience as a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler
- Good practical skills
- The ability to follow design plans
- Accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tuggerah, NSW 2259: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
