Our base at Sydney Airport is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our maintenance team supporting maintenance inputs on a wide range of business jet aircraft types.

**Summary of duties & responsibilities**:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for improving work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts and material, and equipment access. Whilst based in Sydney and primarily supporting the Sydney maintenance base this role will also support other bases in the Australasia region from time to time

**The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for**:
**Maintenance Proposal Functions**
- Raising proposed tasks
- Entering manpower estimates
- Adding bill of materials
- Allocating required tooling
- Sourcing third party estimates
- Assessment of warranty & program coverage

**Production Planning**
- Preparing work packages with task cards & AMM references
- Forecasting labour requirements
- Developing a material needs list
- Tool & Equipment loans
- Contracting Third Parties
- Assigning warranty & program coverage

**Qualifications and experiences**:

- Read and write technical content
- Aviation Maintenance Planning experience prefered.
- Previous Business Jet Aviation experience desirable.
- Aviation degree desirable.

**Salary**: $76,500

Pay: $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
