With this growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Logistics Controller** to join the team. The role is responsible for developing leadership & direction for all Logistics activity in their area of control. Key roles will consist of (but not restricted to) order management, inventory enquiries, delivery enquiries and 3PL management.
As a Logistics Controller, you will work closely with both internal and external partners to administer end to end logistics support and order management as well as being responsible for managing any Logistics query/issue from all business functions and wider project planning.
**As the Logistics Controller your responsibilities will include**:
**Logistics**
- Assist in the management of 3PL relationship (in area of responsibility) to ensure that operational KPI targets are consistently met & that service to customers is optimised.
- Manage financial requirements of the role
- Drive continuous operational and business improvements in partnership with peers, 3PL and colleagues within the wider supply chain.
- Carry out root cause analysis, prepare and implement corrective actions to operational activities.
- Manage aspects of internal & external stakeholder relationships, including customers, 3PLs and Co-Manufacture / Co-Packer partners through a variety of operational activities
- Manage logistics queries / issue across all business functions and wider project planning.
**Support & Analysis**
- Assist in resolving day to day SAP issues relating to your area of work.
- Work with internal Business
- Interface between AR, AP & 3PL for invoice queries
**Reporting and monitoring of key indicators with financial and compliance implications**
- Monitoring and reporting of inventory and production specifically as it relates to Logistics activity requirements.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPI and financial targets to ensure Logistics scorecards are consistently met.
**The ingredients to be successful**:
- Understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics Management principles
- Understanding of basic Financial business principles
- Must be a self-motivated and self-reliant person with a very strong will to succeed
- Understanding the material flow of finished goods from production through the network and to the end customer and the associated system transactions.
- Ability to work cross functionally with good interpersonal skills and interact with third parties both within & outside of TAG
- Accurately provide and maintain data and reports in a timely manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and managing priorities
- Understanding Import / Export compliance
