Inspection Technician

Our client is seeking a hard-working team player to join the Glendenning, NSW team. The position is for a permanent full-time **Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician **who will be employed direct with the company.
- **Location**: Glendenning, NSW
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday (7am to 3.30pm)
- **Pay rate**:$35 per hour plus penalties
- **Extras**:3% Shared Earnings Plan Annual Bonus & Uniform provided

You will be assisting with the pre-delivery inspection process, no formal experience required, on the job training will be provided with career advancements for the right applicant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out pre-delivery of EWP lift equipment.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted on time and accurately.
- Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas are hazard free.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Liaise with workshop management and stock controller regarding machine status and requirements.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in service work on mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems _(preferred)._
- The ability to perform troubleshooting and repair work on machinery _(preferred)_.
- Knowledge of Elevated Work Platforms _(Desirable but not essential)._
- Good problem solving and communication skills.
- Good work ethic with ability to show initiative.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
