**The Role**
The Security and Facility Manager is responsible for the Systems Program Office Security management system, ensuring compliance with Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and supporting Security policies. This includes:

- Maintaining governance oversight of all Information, Cyber, Personnel, and Physical Security requirements;
- Executing the Security assurance, performance and reporting program;
- Developing and implementing security and facility management procedures and manual updates;
- Managing Security Incident response by investigating the root cause, seeking guidance from industry peers, and forming mitigating actions;
- Identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and establishing control measures;
- Delivering training and education programs;
- Supporting security related emergency response functions, roles and responsibilities in accordance with Emergency Response Plans and Building Security Officer;
- Maintaining FISRSPO accommodation needs across head office and remote working locations; and
- Supporting building security accreditation audits and addressing findings accordingly, when requested by building custodians.

FISRSPO is currently responsible for two major projects set to imminently deliver the next two unique platforms to the Royal Australian Air Force fleet. The materiel we acquire includes crewed and un-crewed aerial systems and ground control segments, training systems, and associated infrastructure and support systems.

FISRSPO is also responsible for the integration of all elements of the Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC), to ensure seamless transition to service of the acquired capability, enabling achievement of Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and Final Operational Capability (FOC) on time and within budget. FISRSPO is an integrated workplace with ADF, APS and contracted personnel, committed to flexible work practices.
- Ability to work independently under broad direction to deliver outcomes;
- Ability to prepare and deliver training and awareness sessions in support of building a positive security culture;
- High-level of communication skills to tailor communication style to audiences’ level of knowledge, skill and experience;
- Understanding of the security risk context to inform risk assessments and advice;
- Ability to identify, research and analyse complex security and facilities issues, and provide recommendations and advice to stakeholders; and
- Ability to co-ordinate minor projects such as office upgrades and maintenance, ensuring that work is progressing as planned, stakeholders are engaged, and work is of expected standard.
