Financial Advice Leader
- Advocacy Expertise: Lead research, policy drafting, and advocacy across the superannuation, tax and financial services
- Drive thought leadership by researching and drafting papers on policy matters relevant to CA ANZ members
- Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring an outstanding member experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to Superannuation and Financial Services Leader, you will be responsible for strengthening our influence through research, drafting policy positions, and engaging with key stakeholders in the national and international financial services policy arena.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Advocacy Leadership - research, draft policy positions, and advocate on financial advisory services policy priorities. Engage with external stakeholders, manage policy-related activities, and balance members’ interests with public interest.
- Thought Leadership - reach and draft papers on policy matters relevant to CA ANZ members in financial advice. Manage projects to develop Thought Leadership Publications and events
- Member Support: Provide ongoing support to members practising in financial services. Communicate regularly and effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
You will have demonstrated experience in financial advisory services, policy advocacy, and legal compliance within Australia.

**To be successful in this role, you will also possess**:

- Industry Expertise: Expert knowledge of the financial services industry, including historical development.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Team Player: Demonstrate strong ethical values, function well as a team player, and uphold commitment to high-quality standards.
- Member Experience: Deliver an outstanding member experience for Chartered Accountants practising in financial services within a rapidly changing environment.
