**The Opportunity**

Are you an excellent communicator who likes to work with computers and is interested in working in local Government? This Certificate III in Business is a perfect opportunity to gain experience and develop new skills and capabilities within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The traineeship is based within a local council in Hurstville.

**Duties**
- Working as part of the Information Management Team
- Maintaining council records, accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations
- General administration, mail management, document registration, creation of forms
- Liaise with council staff on software issues affecting information management
- Maintain the electronic document management system
- Update website links
- Participate in the implementation and roll out of information management projects

**About You**
- A genuine interest in information management
- Previous experience in IT( desirable, but not essential)
- Dynamic and adaptable
- Confident
- Communicative and able to connect with people of all ages
- Organised, reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
