Dental Assistant/receptionist

**EXPERIENCED DENTAL ASSISTANT/ RECEPTIONIST**

Southern Suburbs

We are looking for a friendly, caring Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our small family team at our two chair practice, Tooth Zone Blackwood in a part/full time capacity with an immediate start.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Chair side assisting to a Dentist
- Processing and sterilising instruments
- General reception duties - Checking in patients, booking appointments and processing payments

We are a small close-knit practice, so being a team player is vital. We need someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing and demonstrates initiative. There is an administrative aspect to the available role in which knowledge of Exact would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Receptionist experience highly regarded
- Understanding of infection control and sterilisation standards
- Organized, good time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Computer experience (Dental Software knowledge an advantage)
- COVID19 vaccination certificate
- Current police clearance
- Current working with children check
- An Australian resident with eligibility to work within Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackwood, SA 5051: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
