**Job Description**:
Are you passionate about providing expert support and building capacity amongst Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services to address and respond to family violence? EACH is looking for a** Specialist AOD Family Violence Advisor **to join our _South East Substance Use Recovery (SURe) AOD_ _team and help drive integrated service response between health services and the family violence sector.

As the Specialist AOD Family Violence Advisor you will have the opportunity to build the capacity of practitioners to recognize and respond to family violence victims/survivors and perpetrators in their client groups. This will include identifying emerging trends, needs and gaps in service delivery and practice issues, developing joint work between specialist family violence services, promoting collaboration and facilitating implementation of relevant policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for someone with a proven ability to engage teams, problem-solve, and think critically in order to drive change towards a safer community.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Qualifications in social work or a related community services discipline
- Significant experience working in the family violence service system and sound knowledge of the AOD sector
- Working understanding of relevant legislation and how it impacts on family violence
- Experience in working across partnerships and capacity building programs
- Fluency in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in an appropriate and sensitive manner
