**About the role**:
Reporting to and working closely with the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance this Kwinana based position will see you working effectively and efficiently as a member of a small team to support the delivery rail infrastructure maintenance at nominated locations. You will be performing the following duties:

- Performance of rail infrastructure maintenance, including rerailing, re-sleepering and track/turnout upgrades, in accordance with established procedures and track standards
- Performance of minor maintenance activities and rail infrastructure inspections, as required, in accordance with established procedures and track standards
- Assisting the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance with the upkeep of rail infrastructure equipment and vehicles
- Assisting the Supervisor Construction & Maintenance with loading, unloading and distributing materials at nominated locations
- Undertaking administrative and recording duties to ensure quality outcomes and that correct information is recorded and distributed to the applicable stakeholder

**About you**:

- Cert II in Rail Infrastructure (mandatory)
- Forklift License (preferred)
- Strong personal commitment to safety
- Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver Licence (mandatory)
- Sound level of both written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of rail infrastructure maintenance, inspection standards, systems, and processes
- 'HR' or “MR” Class Driver Licence although not essential, will be highly regarded
- Welding, and/or other trade tickets although not mandatory, will be highly regarded
