**About the role**:
An opportunity currently exists for an experienced 4WD Accessory Fitter to join the team at Mates 4x4 Pakenham

The main duties for this role will include fitting aftermarket vehicle accessories to a wide range of vehicles

This is a permanent full-time position with normal working hours of Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

Remuneration can be negotiated depending on experience

**General responsibilities includes**:

- Daily preparation of goods required
- Liaising with Branch Manager
- Following all workshop WHS and SOP procedures
- Assisting with workshop duties, such as cleaning, tidying, sweeping of workshop, off-loading of deliveries into warehouse.
- Caring for, and looking after all workshop tools and equipment

**Your duties would include but would not be limited to**:

- Assembly of aluminium and steel UTE tray bodies
- Fitment of suspension upgrades
- Fitment of UTE canopies
- Fitment of 4wd related products, bull bars, tow bars etc.
- Installation of dual battery systems, UHF radios and related products
- 4WD tradie and camping fit outs

**Skills required for the job would include**:

- A strong background in automotive accessory fitting for more than 2 years (mandatory)
- Excellent work ethics
- Experience in automotive electrical wiring, dual battery systems and UHF radio installations, Experience in suspension and 4wd accessory fitment
- Broad knowledge of 4wd, off-road and touring aftermarket products
- Trade qualification preferred but not essential
- Be able to maintain a safe, clean and organized work place
- The use of your own tools
- Ability to work individually without constant direction, self motivated with a desire to succeed
- Current manual drivers license ( Mandatory)
- Current Forklift License (mandatory)
- Experience with Diesel & Petrol engines preferred but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
