**About the Role**

The team is structured to provide services encompassing technology architecture design, data platforms, business solutions, project services, technology networks and compute, school services via a central technology service desk and cyber security.
- Coordinate projects including M365, Telephony upgrades, Microsoft Teams, server and network modernisations with a strong team of internal and third-party support.
- Evaluate the current infrastructure and operations technical landscape, investigate options, and make recommendations to migrate the current landscape to more of a managed service capability.
- Coordinate appropriate procurement activities (e.g. RFIs, RFPs, etc) to identify appropriate partner suppliers, support contract and service level agreement negotiations
- Establish and operate suitable monitoring and reporting of external service provider performance and internal operations against agreed service levels.
- Holding suppliers and internal teams accountable for under performance and escalating repeated non-performance as required.
- Review existing documentation and investigate actual infrastructure implementations
- Identify relevant stakeholders of infrastructure and operations to discover existing usage and current issues or shortcomings, as well as potential future needs.
- Prepare, maintain and/or review documentation for delivery
- Comply with typical ITIL processes (e.g. Incident, Problem, RCA and Change management processes) and ensure all support and delivery related escalations are resolved and customer communication is managed effectively.
- Conduct regular governance / performance reviews with service providers, providing monthly and quarterly governance reports for clients

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated, well developed skills in preparing for and contributing/participating in the RFP/RFQ/tenders, fault reports, project plans, progress reports and service evaluations/recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with and holding vendors to account on delivery of business outcomes and contracted services
- Demonstrated experience delivering IT services to internal and external businesses
- Vendor management and an understanding of procurement requirements in a government funded organisation.
- Experience working hands on and to some extent at a supervisory level of an infrastructure and operations team.
- Post-secondary qualification in Information and Communication Technology is highly desirable.
