**About the role**

This position participates in the provision of dental care to eligible patients in accordance with their identified needs as part of an inter-disciplinary dental team with a focus on population health, the position is responsible for the delivery of high quality and cost-effective dental services.

The successful applicant will join our dynamic dental team in the provision of high-quality dental services to the local community. This position will be based in our new state of the art clinic in Sebastopol but the successful applicant may be required to work from time to time at one of our other clinics. You will be joining an experienced and dedicated public dental team in a permanent full-time role with the support of many experienced staff members.

**Skills and experience**
- Possess a formally recognized tertiary qualifications in Dental Assisting e.g. Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental assisting and infection control
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing personal and professional development
- Ability to maintain high standards of work, with a focus on quality
- Capacity to work in a range of clinical environments
- Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical competence and broad relevant experience in all aspects of dentistry delivered through public, private and specialist providers
