**About the role**

**Salary commensurate with experience plus superannuation plus salary packaging available**
This role entails but not limited to
Youth Connector
- “Connect” young people with specialist counselling and support services for sexual assault and abuse.
- Establish and maintain pathways for young people needing sexual assault/abuse services.
- Facilitate early intervention youth counselling for sexually reactive behaviours.
Counsellor
- Work with your line manager to identify client needs and deliver appropriate services within available resources, continually assessing and responding to changing needs and dynamics.
- Conduct assessments to inform therapeutic goals, intervention plans, casework, and client support.
- Offer short and long-term individual and family counselling in response to referrals, using various therapeutic interventions to address identified issues.
**About you**
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Completed degree in Social Work, Social Science, Counselling, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognised institution
- Current and valid Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver’s License
- Current and valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to apply
- Proof of current whooping cough vaccination or willingness to obtain it before starting
