**About the Role**

Due to growth in our Payroll Team, Southern Cross Care (WA) is looking for a Payroll Officer to join the department located at our central office in Rivervale. This is a flexible position with both a mix of office and working from home.

**We’ll also be asking you to:

- **
- Process allocation of employees / payrolls from end-to-end within defined timescales
- Resolution of payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with audit requirements
- Ensure new starters, terminations and maintenance is completed and checked for allocation of employees / payrolls
- Ensure all documentation is filed as per departmental guidelines

**About You**

**To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

- **
- Knowledge and understanding of Payroll Processing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of current legislative requirements relating to taxation and superannuation
- Advanced Word and Excel skills
