We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Assistant Store Manager to supervise the daily recycling, retail, pick-up & delivery and administrative functions of the Family Store.

You will successfully
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the daily store operations (eg. sales, merchandising, volunteer rostering, open/close process, banking, reconciliations)
- Manage external relationships with Volunteer organisations
- Ensure presentation of the store is aesthetically pleasing and seasonally appropriate
- Be responsible for stock moving quickly and/or being disposed of according to procedures
- Provide strong customer focus and commitment to quality of service
- Induct, train and mentor volunteers to undertake tasks within the store
- Complete volunteer documentation in accordance with procedures (including timekeeping/attendance records)

You will have
- 1 year experience in retail and/or customer service (preferably in a supervisor role)
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling, banking and cash register operations and reconciliations
- Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry would be highly desirable
- A current Driver's Licene
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
