We welcome those from various backgrounds, including previous experience in Youth Services, Community Services and Employment Services. You love working in a collaborative environment where you are driving the success of a new program. Your happy to step up and take responsibility, you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact and genuinely help young people on their path to employment.
You won’t be desk bound in this role, you need to love networking as you will initially focus on building relationships with local schools, career advisors and other community organisations. Then your focus will turn to servicing your clients.
**The Role**:
APM has secured new business with the Transition to Work contract and as a Youth Support Worker, you will be based in our Moss Vale office. You will be building relationships with community organisations to attract new participant referrals, assessing the needs of the participants, identifying barriers to employment and providing solutions focussed approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.
