**Aged Care Role - Sydney Sutherland Shire**

We are looking for experienced Support Workers/Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality service in Aged Care and Disability Support. **Your New Role**:

- **Personal Care duties**: assist customers with activities of daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility
- **Domestic assistance duties**: light cleaning, meal preparation (as required), laundry
- **Social support duties**: transportation to shopping, medical appointments and social outings

**Requirements**:

- Valid Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
- Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services/ completed 1st year of a Nursing degree
- Satisfactory Australian National Police Check.
- Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Smart mobile phone.
- **Must be living within the Sutherland Shire** and enjoy a convenient commute and support your local community
- Be authorised to work in Australia
- Ability to provide personal and domestic care with joy and kindness - Empathy is essential
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as you will have to communicate with clients and our team.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- High level of time management and organisational ability.
- Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.56 - $43.24 per hour
