Come join Koorana in this exciting part time role as either a Early Childhood Educator or Family Support Worker where you will be working in collaboration the Supported Playgroup team in running Supported Playgroups in indoor and outdoor venues across the Bankstown and Canterbury Local Government Area.

Early Childhood Educators and Family Support Workers work in collaboration to plan and provide supported playgroups with age-appropriate play activities that promote early learning, support parents and carers in their parenting role and assist families to establish supportive social connections. They also assist families to make links with a wide range of community supports, including formal prior to school settings such as day care and preschool.
- Qualifications in Early Education, Community Welfare or Social Work
- Experience working with children and parents and carers in their parenting role
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritise, plan ahead, anticipate risks and problem solve
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 365
- Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse community
- To be a real team player
- Current Driver’s license
- Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check
- To be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful
- Prior TEI experience is highly desirable
