**Venue Manager - Strategic Leader | Guest-Focused Operator | Brand Ambassador**

We are seeking a high-performance Venue Manager to take full command of our hospitality operations. This is not just a shift management role - it is about leading with purpose, optimizing every aspect of the business, and becoming the face of the venue with pride and passion.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be on the floor, actively engaged in service, team direction, guest interaction, and business performance - not managing from the sidelines. You will lead from the front and ensure smooth operations across all departments while keeping a sharp focus on cost control, staff performance, guest satisfaction, and brand growth.

There is also **future opportunity to oversee multiple venues**, so we are looking for someone with the ambition and capability to grow into a multi-site leadership role.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

**Operational Oversight**
- Full responsibility across all service periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions, and events
- Run the floor efficiently with full presence and operational command
- Set and uphold service standards, guest flow, table turns, and service consistency
- Lead daily team briefings, manage sections, and address any drop in standards swiftly

**Bar and Beverage Leadership**
- Oversee bar operations including cocktails, mocktails, and drink service quality
- Train team members in seasonal drink preparation and presentation
- Monitor bar wastage, beverage cost, and identify upsell opportunities

**Wage and Cost Control**
- Maintain full control of rosters, labour costs, and team productivity
- Oversee ordering, stock levels, and food and beverage cost of goods
- Implement effective systems to reduce waste and optimise supply flow

**Marketing and Brand Promotion**
- Act as the face of the venue - building relationships with customers and the local community
- Work with ownership to plan and execute marketing campaigns and in-house activations
- Manage social media content, daily stories, photo capture, promotions, and brand tone
- Respond to online feedback and maintain a strong digital presence

**Supplier Management**
- Manage supplier relationships directly with confidence
- Negotiate pricing, monitor stock quality, and manage seasonal changes
- Explore new supplier options and oversee consistent delivery and availability

**Guest Experience and Upselling Strategy**
- Lead with a warm, high-energy service style and genuine hospitality
- Be present on the floor to resolve issues, coach team members, and create memorable guest moments
- Drive upselling and strategic service delivery to increase spend per head
- Use menu knowledge, timing, and creativity to suggest drinks, add-ons, and high-margin items

What We Are Looking For
- Proven hospitality leadership experience in a busy venue, restaurant, or bar
- Ability to manage fast-paced operations while staying composed and confident
- Financial and business acumen including understanding of P and L, budgeting, and stock control
- Strong knowledge of bar and beverage operations with hands-on experience
- Confidence in managing digital marketing and engaging social media content
- Track record in supplier negotiations and maintaining stock consistency
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills

Pay: $60,598.65 - $70,000.00 per year
