MRAEL are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Fitter & Turner to join the team at SWB in Dandenong. **SWB** was established 46 years ago with their branch networks now extended to all of Australia. With a hands-on attitude, innovative approach and commitment to work in conjunction with their customers, SWB will remain at the forefront of bearings and power transmission supply.

You will have the opportunity to join a well-developed network of trained and experienced personnel, complimented by their manufacturers’ engineering departments.

**What's involved**:
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

- Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, driveshafts
- Installing bearings on site
- Dismantling, cleaning, assessing and measuring parts
- Assisting with small machining jobs
- Cleaning of the workshop
- Workshop deliveries (local area)
- Assisting with maintaining workshop equipment

**About you**:
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

- A positive attitude to learn in the workplace,
- High level of mechanical aptitude,
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal,
- Ability to operate equipment and systems,

You **must **hold a current Drivers Licence.
