**The Position**

We are looking for a versatile individual who can work as a driver for collections/deliveries

Operating from our Morningside Warehouse, this is a full time position with shifts that will be worked Monday and Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect and deliver produce as per instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor
- Perform warehouse and/or food sorting activities as required
- Liaise with food donors to maximise the potential effectiveness of the program
- Adhere to all SecondBite OH&S policies and manual handling standards
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and maintained at all times
- Undertake any other duties within the scope of your skills and experience, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or State Operations Manager

**Qualifications & Experience (Key Selection Criteria)**
- A current unrestricted Driver’s License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT)
- MR Truck License (MINIMUM REQUIREMENT - HR Licence desirable)
- A current Forklift License (desirable)
- Experience in deliveries, warehousing, food safety and retail will be favourably regarded
- Empathetic approach to the issues surrounding nutritional poverty and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
- Basic data entry skills
- Good customer service skills which can help develop positive relationships with donors

**Salary**: $53,346.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
