Exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned and established hospitality group opening a new modern Japanese Restaurant and bar, “Sushia Izakaya”. Formerly at Brookfield Place for 8 years, we have relocated at the heart of the new Karrinyup Entertainment and Restaurant Precinct.

The venue has over 120 seats featuring a cocktail bar, sushi bar, robata grill, teppanyaki and alfresco seating. Our highly skilled internationally renowned chefs operating from an open style kitchen will be offering traditional as well as a modern Japanese culinary experience. The dynamic bar designed as a feature of the venue will be a focal point for our signature cocktails and extensive Japanese inspired drinks list. Our focus is on a professional and efficient service of high-quality food but with an accessible, upbeat, and vibrant atmosphere. Join our team and be part of this fun and fresh new venue.
- You’ll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.
- Undertake food preparation and cooking on a day-to-day basis in a kitchen section directed by Chef de Partie /Sous chef and monitor closely the requirements for mise-en-place to ensure that the station is ready for service.
- HHCAPP champion and work efficiently to control wastage of food and non-food items.
- Be a skilled multi-tasker and demonstrate problem solving skills.
- Be able to work well in a team environment and support the wider team success.

**Salary**: $24.73 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
