The successful applicant will have demonstrated:

- Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic Education
- Experience or an interest in learning support
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork to work in a team with other Diverse Learning teachers and Teachers Aides
- Exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice and the intellectual, physical and social development of all students and those identified with disabilities and learning needs
- Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities.

Specific Criteria:

- Ability to work with children with diverse learning needs as well as other students within the classroom.
- Display a patient, compassionate and caring nature.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team - such as teachers, parents, external providers.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the teacher and their students throughout the learning sessions.
- Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety
- A current Working with Children Check
