We are looking for a quality, diversified and flexible Disability Support worker to provide domestic support within a private residence to a kind and friendly small family.

The family includes a 40+ single mother with a rare genetic disability, Ectodermal Dysplasia (ED), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Depression and Anxiety along with a young child (6-year-old boy) suffering the same genetic disorder (ED) with emotional regulation issues and a distinct speech impedance. Living within a 3-bedroom 2 story townhouse along with 2 pets that include an over friendly and sometimes little noisy medium size ‘Amstaff’ (American Staffordshire Terrier) dog and an ageing domestic medium haired cat.

In addition to the domestic support the mother also requires assistance and much support with child schooling and specialist transportation by way of supplied transport.

There is a requirement for general duties such as meal preparation, household keeping, pet maintenance and personal support to assist the mother in providing an independent, harmonious and progressive lifestyle for as long as practicable.

Working a 10 - 15 hour rotating day only roster is a necessity. The roster is created to suit the week-to-week requirements in consideration of both the family needs along with the flexibility of the right support person.

- An understanding of AUSLAN is a distinct advantage but not a necessity
- First Aid Certificate - preferred
- Working with Children certificate - required

- Current NSW Unrestricted Driving License - required
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - required

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:
