Work that Matters
This is a newly created initial 12-month fixed term contract that will see you working closely with our Employment Counsel. In this role you will support the delivery of commercial and timely legal advice and solutions to a range of stakeholders across our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal and associated administrative support, including case and workflow management
- Prepare a range of documents for courts/tribunals/regulators
- Review and amend employment-related templates and workplace policies
- Interpret industrial instruments, such as modern awards and enterprise agreements
- Legal research (including analysis of case law and legislation) and other HR/market research
- Draft updates in relation to employee and industrial relations legal and policy updates
- Work closely with the Employment Counsel to support the annual cycle of I-MED Enterprise Agreement bargaining across the Network
- Assist with compliance reporting (internal and external) in relation to employee relations/human resources matters

**You bring to the role**:
You are a highly collaborative, organised and self-motivated individual who has an exceptional attention to detail and can work autonomously to deadlines and key priorities.
You have a passion for employment law/human resources and enjoy supporting your colleagues by performing paralegal activities to a high standard. Ideally, you have some experience supporting employment matters, either in-house or within a law firm, as well as an understanding of employment laws and regulations, and/or experience in Human Resources.
Located in our head office in the CBD, it is anticipated you will work in a hybrid fashion once you have completed your training.
