**About the Opportunity**

Are you passionate about education and rehabilitation? We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an Education Facilitator to join our dynamic educational team at Acacia, located in Wooroloo, WA. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on the lives of inmates through quality education and training.

**What you’ll be doing**

As an Education Facilitator, you will deliver literacy and numeracy training in a culturally sensitive manner, enhancing the well-being and employment prospects of inmates. You will design, plan, and evaluate education programs, ensuring they meet Registered Training Organisations (RTO) standards.

Your responsibilities will also include managing administrative tasks, participating in operational meetings, and developing educational resources within security guidelines. Compliance with health and safety requirements, legislation, policies, and procedures is essential in this role.

**About you - your ideal skills & experience**
- Has a qualification to meet Schedule 1 in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations or will complete within six months of start date in own time and at own cost.
- Experience in teaching literacy and numeracy
- Tertiary teaching qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other student data systems
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to be open and adaptive to innovation and change
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
