**Role Overview**:
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for providing tailored, person-cantered support to clients with high-needs, including intellectual disabilities, challenging behaviours, and mental health conditions. You will work 1:1 with clients to promote independence, ensure safety, and assist with community access while maintaining a supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with high-intensity support needs, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, community access and meal preparation.
- Respond to behavioural challenges with appropriate interventions, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and incidents.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with clients to foster independence, social inclusion, and skill development.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in providing high-intensity support
- A genuine passion for working with individuals with complex needs.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours and respond to crises calmly and professionally.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of clients in dynamic environments.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid NDIS Workers Check, and any other relevant checks.
- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Mental Health, or a related field is highly desired

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $31.76 - $74.72 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week

- Australia (preferred)
