**FRONT DESK (RECEPTION) ROLE**
**Job Summary**
A front desk team member will perform an integral role in making all UFC gym members and guests feel welcome and comfortable when visiting the club.
As part of our reception team, you are the front line of UFC gym and play a key role representing the brand.
You will be required to have a key knowledge on all club facilities, programs and monthly promotions. A strong focus on UFC GYM retail products and stock take ability is required.

**Experience & Educational Requirements**
- 2+ Years customer service and cash handling experience essential
- Fitness Facility front desk experience preferred
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Be the Face of UFC GYM
- Make all members and prospective members feel welcome and at home when they are in our clubs.
- Remain up to date with the latest club information and promotions.
2. Club Support
- Assist the Reception Manager in the implementation and running of all front desk systems and procedures.
- Support all other club departments with the implementation and running of UFC gyms MMA and private coaching systems, policies and procedures as and when required
3. Gate Control
- Scan in members, refer un-financial members to debit success or the Reception Manager/Club Manager. Assist with all membership administration for ‘Upfront’ members, and direct debit members + allocate/re-allocate membership cards and direct traffic as required.
4. Enquiries
- Handle inbound and outbound phone enquiries, transfer calls as needed, take and deliver messages as needed.
- Follow all UFC gym scripting for walk in and phone in enquiries and support monthly referral campaigns.
- Complaints Handling
- Manage member complaints professionally.
- In difficult situations remember to LAUGH (Listen, Acknowledge, Understand, Go - seek assistance and Help).
- Retail & Cash Control
- Take and enter membership, transfer and time hold payments, ensure till is balanced at end of shift and do up banking when/if required. Ensure all retail shelving is displayed professionally and manage all stock requirements as instructed
- General Administrative Duties
- Manage the club’s computer program, follow stock control procedures, follow club maintenance and accident and injury procedures.
- Manage front desk book, ensure paper-stocks
(Club information leaflets, timetables) are full stocked.

- Know club emergency procedures (i.e. fire evacuation).

**Sales Business Stream**:
- Achieve all team and personal sales and activity targets set out by UFC GYM senior management
- Identify the many and various business, industry bodies, schools and universities for UFC gym to work with to ensure the growth of the club’s membership base
- Participate in all monthly promotional activities as required at club level
- Attend and be prepared for all sales and company meetings
- Attend all training to develop your skills and reporting requirements
- Take on extra tasks and duties when delegated to support overall UFC GYM business Streams.
- Meet all personal and club KPI’s as outlined by your general manager
- Set a (Daily/weekly/monthly) plan of action, in order to meet both individual and team KPI’s
- Accurately record all data on UFC GYM software system.
- Actively seek out mediums for continual company improvement
**Responsibilities for the Compliance as a UFC gym franchise**:
- Support all organisational stream’s in meeting franchise requirements
- Abide by all UFC GYM systems.
- Abide by UFC GYM marketing guidelines.
- Abide by UFC GYM quality control benchmarks and reporting systems.
**Communication**:
- Liaison with your Club General Manager regarding lead generation membership sales, club retail sales and any products requirements.
- Follow guidelines and directions from the Club General Manager
- Provide potential members with accurate information relating to membership terms and conditions /contracts.
- Abide by all established UFC GYM systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: $21.29 - $26.61 per hour
