Baby Room Leader

If you are a **Room Leader**with a passion for the early childhood and keen on the Montessori philosophy or are keen to learn you may be the person we are looking for

MBB is a small BRAND NEW 20 place family owned centre and leading provider of Montessori education in the area. We cater for children from 0-3 years and are situated in the Bayside area of Sydney a short walk from the beach and close to transport and major retails stores.

**The opportunity**:
We currently have a full-time or part-time position available for the suitable person to lead our new babies room. We are searching for an enthusiastic and passionate educator who is looking for a chance to work in an inclusive environment.

**You will**:

- Have a interest in Montessori education
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong desire to work within a collaborative and supportive team
- Support the child and work with the parents in an inclusive environment
- Develop nurturing and caring relationships with the children based on respect and trust;
- Have a desire to continue the centre's high standards of education and care in implementing the Montessori philosophy.
- Enjoy the experience of supervising and guiding student teachers

**We would like**
- Previous experience as a Room Leader in the Babies Room
- A recognised Cert III, Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching degree approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA);
- A WWCC (Working with Children Check)
- A relevant and approved First Aid Certificate and Child Protection training or willingness to obtain

Pay: $28.00 - $40.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
