HFC Field Technician

- Ventia is seeking 2 skilled and experienced **HFC Technicians to join our team in Brisbane**. **You must have a strong background in HFC networks, particularly with providers like Optus, Telstra or NBN**. The role involves installing, terminating and testing HFC cables, diagnosing and resolving network problems and ensuring excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, terminate and test HFC cables
- Diagnose and resolve network issues effectively
- Working on the broader HFC network infrastructure
- Communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Solid experience in HFC networks and proficiency in HFC technology
- Valid driver’s licence (MR preferred)
- Construction white card
- 18A NBN Enable skill
- Utilising and interpreting test results (ONX 630)
- First aid
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Awareness and adherence to safety regulations
- Aerial accreditation (highly desirable)
- EWP licence (preferred)
- Traffic management certification (preferred)
