**About Operating Services**
Barwon Health’s Operating Services includes 3 points of care; Main theatres, Gretta Volum Centre and now Building B. Between the 3 points of care there are 16 theatres and one endoscopy suite, we perform approximately 22,000 procedures per year from specialities such as; Cardiothoracic, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Oral Faciomaxillary, Plastics, Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular and Robotic Surgery.
**About the role**
As the Theatre Technician you will work collaboratively with staff across all areas of Barwon Health to deliver a quality service and ensure positive patient outcomes.
Duties of you role include but not limited to:
- Be familiar with daily work schedule, regularly liaise with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Ensures a clean well prepared environment for patients
- Ensures a safe environment for patients in relation to the correct positioning and preparation of the patient for their procedure and safe patient transfers
