E/i Technician

**Principal Objectives of the Position**:
We are seeking an E/I Technician to test, certify, install, inspect, repair, and maintain instrumentation systems on mining equipment and facilities, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Test and record the effects of varying conditions, actual or simulated.
- Prepare graphs and written reports, translating test results into meaningful terms.
- Select, install, and calibrate metering and recording instruments and circuits.
- Develop specifications for nonstandard apparatus and equipment.
- Verify the acceptability of devices fabricated by craft workers or other technical personnel.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
- Train employees and advise them on proper procedures to avoid equipment breakdowns.
- A **NATIN diploma in Electrotechniek** or an equivalent technical qualification.
- A minimum of **3 years’ experience** in a mine production environment with **practical skills in construction, troubleshooting, and repair**.
- Solid knowledge of **electrical trade practices**, including the use of tools, materials, and safety procedures.
- The ability to **read, write**, and **understand basic mathematics**, as well as follow **verbal and written instructions**.
- ** Strong communication and interpersonal skills**; fluent in **English**, **Dutch is an asset**.
- A **willingness to learn and adapt** to new technologies and processes.
- A **willingness to work on a 14-day on/7-day off rotational schedule** in **Brokopondo**.
