You have a consistent past history of getting things done and adding value to previous groups you’ve been a part of. You like to help people and know you would have the patience to actively listen and clearly explain things to patients to ensure they feel cared for.
You’re good at following company protocols
- motivating, encouraging or organising people to keep them on track with established plans so they get the intended results.
Ideally you have worked in the healthcare or hospitality industry in a front office, assistant or customer service focused role where you have achieved good results, building great rapport with the team and clients you served.
We’ll be providing you the widest range of training so you become multi-skilled across a few roles including role of receptionist & administration so that you can be responsible for the efficiency of the treatment schedules, ensuring patients are following and getting the best results from their treatment plans.
Although we don’t need you to have dental industry or receptioning experience, the first 3-4 weeks of you coming on board will come with structured, hands-on training and you will be expected to learn some treatment room experiences which will help you understand the front office components and requirements. The position will be both challenging and rewarding for the right person.
Located in Ballarat, Ballarat Family Dental is a rapidly growing, family-established, referral-based clinic where most of our patients find us through word of mouth. Our practice is expanding from 3 chairs to 10 chairs in the next few weeks (hence this opportunity has become available). We uphold a reputation of being caring and gentle. We have great systems, products and a team that comes to work everyday, wanting to serve the patients to help them improve their oral health. You will become another key player within our high performance, empowering work culture.
This is a full-time role, working an average of 38 hours per week across 4 weekdays of work and with Saturdays on rotation. The ability to learn our dental software and systems is a must.
