As a Manager, you will be an effective leader, service specialist, and passionate foodie. Reporting to the directors you will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the restaurant and its staff, plus be the point of contact for all client and guest relations.
Your aim is to continue to the great success the restaurant has had by focusing on the people. This is a hands-on role where you're expected to develop tight relationships by offering guidance to an experienced team of managers and line staff, offer support to the day to day operation by working on the floor arm in arm with those on shift, and be the face of the business that guests get to know and love.
Plus, if you are someone that wants to learn, we are very happy to teach you. At Applejack we encourage our staff to be involved in learning and work hard to offer our staff as many opportunities as we can to develop their own skills. We plan to open more restaurants in the coming years, so if you aspire to become a GM or Higher, the opportunities are there, you just need to grab them.

To be considered for the role we are looking for a hospitality professional who has previously held a Manager or Team leader position within a restaurant or food-focused venue where customer service has been the focus for success. We need someone who is a true leader and promotes a positive workplace culture and can stay composed in difficult situations. Other qualities and skills include;
- Demonstrates courage in decision-making with management, staff, suppliers, contractors, and patrons.
- Strong Business and financial acumen with a proven record of achieving commercial success and finical results for the restaurant.
- A clear and confident communicator who can manage both up and down the company lines.
- Truly invested in the Hospitality industry and keeps up to date with what’s going on.
- Be able to deliver a budget to your management team and work out how to make it relevant to their everyday KPI’s and duties
