Warehouse Assistant

Aquatic Solutions is currently seeking three reliable and enthusiastic people to fill our position of Warehouse Assistants.

About us:
Aquatic Solutions is a family run, successful importer and wholesaler of freshwater fish located in Yagoona in Sydney’s West. Recently celebrating 8 years under the current management we are a small team of enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who pride ourselves on our customer service and quality livestock. We specialise in supplying aquarium stores, pet stores and zoos with quality ornamental aquarium fish.

About the role:
Full-time staff for a minimum 2-year contract to assist in our day-to-day duties. These include:

- Catching fish for orders
- Maintaining aquariums
- Feeding our livestock
- Water changing aquariums
- Packing and processing orders
- General cleaning and maintenance duties - around the premises and the tanks

We deal with livestock here and it is a fast-paced environment as a wholesaler. To be successful for this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

- Be punctual
- Reliable & Trustworthy
- Follow instructions easily
- Good organisational skills/coordinate time and duties in order of priority
- Hardworking and not afraid to get your hands wet
- Able to communicate and work with a team and independently
- Able to lift and carry boxes
- Attention to detail
- Flexible availability as overtime is required

Desirable criteria:

- Have a background/knowledge of keeping aquarium fish (preferable & HIGHLY REGARDED)
- Have an NSW driver’s license (preferable but not required)

**Salary**: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week

Customers are currently not allowed to enter the premises, kerbside collection is available. All staff wear masks and PPE and practice social distancing where practical

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
