**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

YWCA Australia is currently seeking a trainee Case Worker to join our Domestic and Family Violence Team in our Nowra location. This is a offered on a full time basis on a maximum term contract ending on 30 June 2026.

**ABOUT YOU**

The ideal applicant will have:

- Enrolled or working towards a Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Community Development (highly desirable but not essential)
- Experience or work experience school based, in a similar role or not for profit, with demonstrated experience (highly desirable but not essential)
- Basic knowledge of DFV services or the Community Services sector
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels based on trust and collaboration
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:

- Completion of a national criminal history check
- A valid relevant state-based working with children permit.
