**Job description**

Caregiver needed for domestic care, personal care, and social support.

**Job Types**: Casual.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Domestic assistance in client’s household
- Personal care and support
- Shopping assistance
- Social support and client’s transportation
- Supporting clients with challenging needs
- Monitoring and report client’s progress and health status
- Attending training and meetings as required

Knowledge / experience/ attributes:

- Motivation and commitment to caring for the elderly and/or people with disability who may have challenging behaviour
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent
- Evidence of good communication skills, including basic skills in written and spoken English
- Evidence of good team building and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge or skills
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current driver’s license, good driving record
- A reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
- Smart Phone with internet access
- National Police Clearance
- Flu vaccination

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

**Language**:

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Vulnerable People check (preferred)
- Driver License and your own car (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
