As an integral member of the Marketing & Commercial Insight team you drive deep dives and ad hoc analysis to drive business performance and support the delivery of ad-hoc requests from the Retail Energy group.

**Accountabilities**
- Drive the use of predictive analytics to highlight revenue opportunities within the Retail Energy group
- Delivery of monthly performance insights to the group
- Ad hoc/ deep dive analysis of key areas of focus in order to drive performance in the business
- Support/coordinate the delivery of the annual financial plan, working closely with the Retail Energy, Pricing and Corporate Strategy groups
- Working closely with counterparts to ensure that both actual results and the financial plan can be represented in the form of a Product/Customer matrix
- Collate and provide market, competitor and consumer insight to inform strategic decision making, utilising a combination of primary & secondary qualitative/quantitative sources
- Utilise strong understanding of methodologies and where best to apply
- Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within specific budgets
- Ensure information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Educated to degree level and relevant professional qualifications
- Ability to make complex concepts and analysis simple to understand and be able to translate data and information into actionable business insight
- Understanding and experience of qualitative and quantitative methodologies including questionnaire/topic guide design, robust sample sizes etc
- Commitment to excellence and customer focus
- Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to get things done and influencing skills
- Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with colleagues and third-party partners
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- High degree of energy, resilience, proactivity and willingness to drive for results
- Understanding of defining problems and solving them; ability to deliver projects from end-to-end
- Confident and effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
