JDA Hotels have a number of exciting opportunities available for **Housekeepers **at **General Gordon Hotel**, Sydenham NSW.

**About the role**

The positions currently vacant involves primarily cleaning of hotel rooms, under the instruction from the Head Housekeeper. The positions vacant are casual, working to a 20-30 hour per week roster which will primarily be weekdays, however, there may be a requirement for some weekend work, on an as needed basis.

Your overall responsibility is to assist with ensuring hotel rooms and common/shared areas within the accommodation area are clean at all times, supplies to rooms are stocked, other areas requiring cleaning as per instructions given by Head Housekeeper or Hotel Licensee are attended to. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, the refreshment of linen and towels, cleaning of bathrooms and laundry’s and replenishment of supplies to the hotel rooms.

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping
- Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use and safe storage of cleaning agents
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school certificate/diploma
