You are a true customer advocate who takes pride in the service and product you deliver and can influence and communicate effectively on all levels. Within a largely operational role you still lead, support, coach, and mentor co-workers in your team so they can grow professionally and continue to meet our customers with empathy and care. Experience working with HACCP standards will be highly regarded. You will be available to work primarily morning shifts (7:30am - 3:30pm), but also be available to work some late nights and weekends as well.

**Responsibilities**:
As IKEA Food Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Lead, develop and coach your team of co-workers in the Swedish Restaurant and Swedish Food Market to ensure they are given the necessary support, training and mentoring so they can provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure daily operational routines and actions in IKEA Food Quality and Food Safety Policies and routines are implemented.
- Maintain a high standard while overseeing the Swedish restaurant and ensuring excellent customer service is continuously exercised.
- Ensure the Swedish Food Market is efficiently maintained as well as clean, organised and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Actively sell our IKEA Food products that customers love and find creative ways to merchandise and drive sales.
- Understand the overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans to contribute to the department action plan and help implement and drive this in the team.
- Strong ability to support and lead change management within the department and the wider store.

A key role of the Swedish Food Market is to sell a little taste of Sweden for our customers to take home. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
