Ivanhoe, Australia Westpac Full time

**Lead a large team at our Ivanhoe branch**:

- **Full-time, permanent position**:

- **Strong banking and leadership experience essential**

**How will I help?**

Our branches are an important part of the communities they’re based in - and as the Bank Manager, you’d have an important role to play in helping the people of Ivanhoe to get the best possible banking experience. Combining your business know-how with your passion for people, you’ll work with your Regional General Manager to motivate a diverse, dynamic and collaborative team to even greater heights. You’ll prove to our customers every day why they’ve come to the right place for all of their financial needs. And that you’re just as invested in the local community as they are.

**What’s in it for me?**

At Westpac, we're going through significant changes, and this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with us through the next phase of transformation. You'll play an important part in driving the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years and in return, we'll support you in the development of your career. With continuous opportunities to learn and grow in an inclusive environment backed by a fantastic team of passionate and knowledgeable people, you'll be empowered to thrive with us.

Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.

**What do I need?**

A natural ability to put the customer at the heart of everything you do - and to manage a team of people by inspiring them to do the same. You’ll have previous experience managing a team and implementing local sales plans to drive business - so you’ll come equipped with everything you need to deliver above and beyond results. That includes profit and loss accountability, great communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally you’d be a local - but if you’re not, having a passion for helping a community will be a part of who you are.

**What’s it like to work there?**

We aim to provide one big, supportive team of people who love helping others succeed. Working with us you'll discover new ways of working, and an exciting range of roles to showcase your skills. As an equal opportunity employer, we’re proud to have created a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values diversity and flexibility. And one where everyone belongs.
- Our people are our highest priority, and we are committed to placing our redeployees in available roles before we review other applicants._
