**About the role**
As the Groundsperson, you will be responsible for the maintenance of Council’s premier parks and sporting facilities providing high quality landscape maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake inspections of parks and other facilities.
- Mowing and landscape maintenance related to green public space
- Ensure completion of all necessary administrative functions (electronic & paper based).
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed to assist other parks teams.
**About You**
We are looking for someone with:
- Current NSW Class C Driver’s License (MR Desirable).
- White Card
- Chemical Application ChemUse AQF3
- Previous experience working in an outdoor operational environment.
- Previous experience working in a landscape/ gardening role.
- Experience in operation of a range of mowers and small plant equipment.
- Great communication skills
- Great attention to detail
**What’s on offer**
This is a Permanent Full-Time position from Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm.
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $63,897 to $70,362 plus 11.5% superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
