Community Support Worker

Subee Newlake provides quality home nursing, disability support, respite care and in-home support services focusing on the unique goals of our clients and their families. Our aim is to promote, support and enable clients to remain at home, encouraging independence.
We are currently searching for friendly, and compassionate Community Support Workers to join our experienced team to make this possible.
This is a casual position.
**About the Role**:
**You will be supported by our dedicated team and assist in providing services that include but not limited to;**
- Provide individual support services and direct care for clients
- Assistance with personal care
- Manual handling including hoist transfers
- Support the client in community participation programs
- Medication assistance
- Assist with meal preparation
- Shopping assistance and transport
- Supporting client with Domestic activities
- Management of challenging behaviours
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, and progress notes
**Requirements**:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disabilities, Aged Care or Community Services or working towards obtaining
- Current First Aid/CPR
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willing to obtain
- Driver's license & own car
- Previous experience in the Disability or Aged Care sector
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
