Guitar Teacher

We are seeking expressions of interest for a Guitar Teacher to commence in Term 3, 2025 (Mid July) at our Southern Lights Vocal Academy, at our location in Dapto, NSW and Fairy Meadow, NSW. We have every intention to create a long-term position at the Academy and welcome successful applicants as official team members to our Institute.

Role: Associate Teacher (Guitar)
Employment Type: Contractor/Casual

**This position will commence Term 3, 2025 (Mid July)**

Position Requirements:

- Ability to differentiate learning between students and provide quality demonstrations in playing guitar (versatile genres/styles required)
- A positive, creative, and supportive approach to teaching, allowing students to experience the joy and excitement in learning an instrument.
- Ability to teach Bass Guitar preferred but not Required
- Previous experience in Guitar Tuition is preferred.
- A qualification in music is preferred but not required. (Bachelors, AMEB Grades etc)
- Role involves delivering private and group tuition to students of all ages and abilities
- Hours and days of work to be negotiated

It is expected that applicants will:

- Hold a current WWC (Working With Children Check)
- Have their own ABN

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
