**What you can expect in a day in the role**:
The Alteration Attendant is an essential part of our cleaning and property services team, assisting staff with well-fitted and comfortable uniforms.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

- Altering staff uniforms, improving comfort and fit, including shortening pants/legs, taking in and letting out seams
- Modifying and repairing uniforms, including tapering pant legs, removing pockets, performing repairs, replacing zippers, and buttons
- Assisting with and perform uniform fittings
- Maintaining the care and upkeep of sewing machines
- Supporting laundry tasks when needed

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
Along with a great attitude and strong knowledge of alterations, you will also have:

- Strong knowledge of fabrics, clothing design, and construction
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Expert or highly experienced sewing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to communicate effectively and graciously
