**About the Role**:
The Adult Mental Health Unit (AMHU) is a 40-bed inpatient facility consisting of a High Dependency Unit (HDU) and a Low Dependency Unit (LDU), designed for individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental illness.

The AMHU delivers contemporary, evidence-based mental health care, guided by the principles of Recovery. The service is committed to providing high-quality, collaborative care involving patients, their carers, and other key services.

The AMHU Office Manager reports to the Administration Manager for Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services (AIMHS) and provides essential administrative support to the clinical team. Given the size and nature of the ward, this position includes a high volume of facilities management responsibilities, such as investigating, reporting, tracking, and following up on related issues. Additional duties include secretariat support for ward-related meetings (as directed by the Administration Manager), assisting with human resources matters, supporting financial management processes, and performing other administrative tasks relevant to the classification and role.
