Production Analyst

**About the Role**:
Due to ongoing success and business growth KB Seafood Co are establishing a processing facility in Morningside, Queensland which will pack a variety of chilled and frozen seafood products to be distributed across Australia via our expansive supply chain network. This site will operate in a fast-paced environment working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we are exceeding our customers’ expectations.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Analyst and Inventory Controller to join the site team for our start up site.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible to support the Operations and Commercial teams in validating, processing, and overseeing the accurate recording and analysis of financial and operational activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with Operations Management on Inventory counts, administrating and overseeing the accurate collection of stock data.
- Investigation and reconciliation of inventory variances, working in conjunction with the Operations Management to fully eliminate variances.
- Monitoring of production related KPI’s, identifying errors and performing root cause analysis.
- Monitoring of production related integration processes and reconciliation of errors.
- Liaise with Finance and provide data where required for operational analysis.
- Work cooperatively with other business units to promote synergies and cost reductions.

**About You**:
You will have:

- Proven Experience within Manufacturing / Production environment
- Experience using SAP or similar manufacturing system.
- Knowledge or Marel systems and processes
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written
- High standards of accuracy and precision
- Results oriented approach, High attention to detail, self-motivated, focused, and reliable.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Office suite knowledge.
- Previous experience working in FMCG/retail industry will be highly regarded.
